14 March 2020… As the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic widens all cardiac surgery patients should be looking after themselves even more…The British Heart Foundation advises that individuals with heart and circulatory conditions should be extra vigilant as the threat of Coronavirus increases. I am following their advice this weekend by not going out, spending the next 2 days indoors. Some medications prescribed after heart surgery gives the runny nose and cough as a side effect but it does not affect everyone, I am one of the exceptions and have put up with it now for the past 2 months, you get used to it but it is tedious… Please heed the advice and take care of yourselves during this extremely serious turn of events that is affecting the population.
