Loo Roll? Discuss…

17 March 2020… St Patrick’s Day today, a disappointing day for the Irish around the world and at home, COVID-19 really has turned peoples’ lives upside down and the horizon looks just as bleak for quite a long time… I may be considered in the “with health conditions” category as besides the Aortic Valve Replacement operation I also have Type 2 Diabetes which is classed as a chronic illness, it might mean 12 weeks of self isolation…hmm… The burning question I have today though is why is everyone buying up every toilet roll in sight…I did venture out early this morning and there were individuals before 9am with trolleys full of toilet rolls, nothing I have seen with regard to symptoms of COVID-19 alludes to having to repeatedly visit the bathroom, there is no mention of diarrhoea or any associated issue within the symptoms posted on the NHS website and other media outlets… Let us hope that this confinement and restricted access to all parts of daily life hurries up and leaves our shores without major damage to human life… Remember the symptoms listed below…

Where do you use the toilet roll?
